Production control is all about timing and capacity.
The main job of the planner is figuring out the following problems:
- Which order/inventory we need to produce.
- What should be the priorities of the jobs and when to start them.
- How to priorities jobs that needs the same resource.
- How to make sure our bottle necks are alway occupy.
- How to react to scraps, machines down and other problematic resources.
- Give an estimation to when the job will be ready.
On this section i will try to get some answers for the above problems.
